A few weeks ago I flew Ryanair from Eindhoven (EIN-Netherlands) to Malaga (AGP-Spain) on their B737-8. To be honest, it was quite nice but there are some bad points.
The seat was really disappointing, dirty, almost no legroom and the tray table didn't deploy fully. Apart from that, the crew was really nice. I was allowed to have a quick visit to the cockpit.
We took off from runway 21. The takeoff was quite smooth. As we were climbing to 37.000 ft, we hit some turbulence. After around 10 minutes the turbulence became less.
The menu was a little bit expensive. I chose a sandwich with ham and cheese. `to be honest, it was good. It was really tasty. As for drinks I chose some Cola, just the quality as you would expect. Although it was pricy. In the supermarket you can by Cola for less than 1 euro but Ryanair offers it for 2,50 euros. Little bit disappointing.
As we began our decent to Malaga, we again hit some turbulence. This one was less worse, I even enjoyed it. The landing at Malaga was a smooth one, something which is really rare forRyanair. We arrived at our gate, and left the plane.
Overview
Seat comfort: 4/10
Legroom: 3/10
Food: 6/10
Cleanliness: 6/10
In-flight entertainment (IFE): 3/10
Crew: 8/10
Experience: 6.3/10
Conclusion
Ryanair is a great airline for short-haul. Their planes are quite clean, but their seat isn't the best. This flight was about 3 hours. I wouldn't survive a flight of 4 hours and more in this seat. The IFE wasn't the best ever. There were some magazines available, and that was it. The crew was really friendly.
Overall I would give this flight a 5,1/10.
Thanks for joining me on this journey to South-America.
